6th day from Madrid to Sevilla

Took a bullet train from Madrid to Sevilla(Seh-vee-ya), or in English, Seville.

Here we stayed at another chain of the "High Tech" hotels Hotel Palace Petit. Another 3 star hotel. High Tech is just a name but it just means that there's free internet access. There's nothing else superly "high tech" about it.

Had to wait for a while coz we were early in checking-in so we took a Horse and Carriage ride around the town for about an hour. After that we walked around and went to see the Cathedral in the city of Seville. It is one of the finest in the world. Construction on the Gothic building began in 1401 without financial aid from the king and work took 125 years to complete. Because of the length of time it took to construct, various styles can be found in the design. There are 9 doors to the cathedral, all different in style and design.

Had lunch at Porta Gayola a little restaurant/pub just down our lane. They had the best tapas and sangria!! Man was it good. The sangria was just to my liking. Mmm...

Coz my dad fell sick, we had take-aways. Chinese and BK. Well, just I had that together. haha. Talk about a combo man! The rest just had Chinese, pretty much. But it's food and it was all good.

Overall the town has a much nicer feel than Madrid. The people are definitely friendlier. The hotel was much better too but the reception of the tv was not so good.
