busy week

hey people,

just a little update.

my cousin Stefan from Perth was here on holiday. stayed over for 2 days before going to Malaysia to visit his friend for a week, then came back to Singapore on Monday to stay for a week before going off back home. what a week it's been! been out almost every day/night. i tell you the things we do for our families when they come from Australia. just to have an excuse to go out, have your cousins over from overseas! haha. but it was great. really funny when he says all the "lahs" and tries speaking singlish with the aussie accent. haha! i'd almost forgotten what he sounded like doing that. he went back this afternoon. hope he had a good flight.

on another note, my gramps has been submitted to hospital yet again. but this time the doctors say it's serious coz he's got pneumonia. he wasn't eating very well and if he did, he could never swallow properly. they say we can visit him any time at the hospital coz of his condition but after visiting hours it's only 2 people. he has to wear an oxygen mask coz he can't breathe properly. they're hoping to get him back on his feet (if he can) before doing anything major. they're also giving him antibiotics and such. all he did was sleep in the hospital. and it didn't seem that he cared much of the surroundings. he would "wake up" adjust his mask look at us and fall back to sleep, which i don't think was very deep sleep. but just keep him in your prayers please. the Lord alone knows what's going to happen. he might just outlive us all with his 9 lives. but this time it really does look more serious than normal. but with gramps, i'm never sure.
