it is amazing how fast a weekend can pass by. and how fast a few months can fly by too. it felt just like yesterday we were at our first practice for our play Silent Night and now, it's over. i wish we could've done it one more day. it just felt too fast. also because i guess the play itself was only an hour long, unlike The First Disciple which i think was about two hours or so? the last one we did that is. and we also didn't have as many practices for this play than our many others before. so it all seemed to go by like jack flash. i am missing it all now. when we were all working our butt off to get our jobs done. the production side getting all the props set up and the sets for the backgrounds. the cast and crew working hard to get all their lines/cues right. all the intensities going on and sometimes getting on one another's nerves.
but despite all that we went through and the short amount of time we had to practice, i must say we did a damn good job. there were a few minor glitches but it didn't really matter coz at the end of it, the message got out to the people, which is what God wanted of us. was absolutely funny when the crew started bowing to Chris on-stage and took Renee out whilst still on her chair to put her on stage! haha. some things will never change.
but i'm really proud of everyone and the work y'all did. this is just one of the reason's i love RG. when it comes to it and we put all our God-given talents together, we can produce such wonderful work for His glory. it was a great experience, especially as this was such a different play compared to the others we've done. i thank God so much for the opportunity of working with each one of you on this production. may RG see many more in the future!
p.s. photos coming soon!
