writer's "blog" again??

hello! how is everyone??

i think i wrote and rewrote this post quite a few times now, coz it never seemed to come out right. but anyway...

first of all, i hope everyone had a terrific Easter! mine was great. just had lunch and the family came over. the highlight of my Easter Sunday was when Renee called me to let me listen to the opening, thanksgiving and final hymns, plus a bit of fr.greg's voice during the children's easter mass back in Singapore. i absolutely loved it. thank you so much renee! i owe you one! or a few.. heh heh.. and thanks to my sis for remembering to have me called up. haha. it made me miss y'all even more! but it was so cool. y'all sang and played really well!!

other than that life here's been good. nothing fantastic but let's just say i'm still alive! i got the flu and have had it for about a week now. sore throat and all that. hope it goes before next week comes. still went for classes.

i'm quite surprised how things have turned out here. and it's been all for the best. God has really blessed me in so many ways and i'm so thankful He's been with me all this while, helping me out and just being there whenever i felt like i needed someone and there wasn't anyone. spiritually speaking. and i'm very proud of myself, coz i managed to get over something, without having thought about it much, and getting all sad and everything. i decided i wouldn't coz there wasn't a need to. we should always believe that life will turn out for the better, and that there's so much more ahead than what we have now. it will get better. so even if God's given me such wonderful people and things now, i believe this isn't the end. i really can't believe how easy i got through it. and talking it out made me feel so much better too.

for those who don't already know, i've taken up driving. yes, i've decided to tell you the big secret which isn't really a secret now. haha. it's been fun and exciting. i've had 5 lessons now. they've all been pretty good. my teacher has been very good and patient. i think if i had another one they might've screamed at me already. haha! if you want details, ask me in person. nah but nothing terrible. i've gone round the area, up and down the hills, went right up to 100 on the highway, practiced how to drive into a driveway and reverse out, practiced going on the roundabouts, and did lots of gear changing as well! my last lesson, was driving up and down hills again. and it was so cool, coz i went down this hill before but not during the evening, and i could see the valley below and all the town leading away, and the sun setting down on it. i was like "wow that looks so cool." i thought my teacher was going to say "aren't you supposed to be concentrating on driving??". but he didn't. haha! thank God. next lesson is next wednesday, in the bloody morning! and then on friday in the afternoon.
