for "blog's" sake (he he he)

Just some old poems I dug up from past posts.

A Hundred Ways (to a Hundred Lanes)

if it were the end of the world,
what would you do today?
would you sit and wait for the sky to fall,
or walk a hundred ways?

would time pass by too quickly
enough to end life fast,
or would it take it's time so that
we'd relive things of past?

how, many friends you've showed them,
you love them all so much.
but time has come and now it seems
you never told them such.

you never meant to hurt them,
in any way you did.
and now to say you're sorry
is more than what you wished.

i never meant to hurt you,
in any way i might've.
but still just saying sorry,
doesn't seem to do you justice.

i've not been known to express,
my feelings all too truely.
but now i'd like to say,
i love you all too dearly.

time had passed by too fast,
more than i had expected.
i wish that i could turn back time,
some few months back, prolonged.

if it were the end of the world,
what would i do today?
to see you all before i go,
i'd walk a hundred ways.

Planetary Solitude

white-spotted indigo blue,
can't you see me looking at you?

never looking, always seen,
seeming lonely, never been.

one by one formations start,
dots connecting each apart.

twinkles in each one for me,
mirrors image in the sea.

solace finds me wrapped in peace,
gazing high on heav'n with ease.

lying on the cool wind grass,
waiting for the time to pass.

clouds they glide as white as snow,
God made all these things i know.

shadows drift a lonely sigh,
a friend would be great company.

to lie and watch the moon above,
the stars and planets - the things i love.

After all these years, you still don't trust me like you say you do.
