hello again.

it is me. yours truly. writing today.

i have the internet hooked up to my laptop(for those who don't know). i can access the webcam on yahoo messenger on my laptop and on msn messenger if i use my aunt's computer. mac's microsoft messenger doesn't even have webcam facilites. it's same as msn but for mac. so that's a bummer. but it works on yahoo on my laptop. as i just found out yesterday thanks to my dearest sister!(TANGS!) that's one trouble with a mac. don't understand why they don't have the new Skype 2.0 for mac either. but i can still use the normal Skype for mac to talk to people.

wes, that's why i couldn't get the webcam to work on it. i've got the mac version! terrible.

so if you have a webcam and want to chat with me on a webcam then for this moment(until they have skype 2.0 for mac or microsoft messenger has webcam facilities) i'm using yahoo messenger. but i'm not going to put my ID on display here for obvious reasons, so you know what to do.

i'm still doing good here, though i've got rashes on my hands. i have very little medication left. but it looks sort of pinkish-red and sort of bumpy. and it's itchy at times so that can be a pain. hope it's not too bad tomorrow coz i'll be having my unit enrolment and don't want to be scratching like an idiot. will be meeting my course coordinators/lecturers tomorrow so i can't wait for that. and will see the girl i met who's from singapore too, doing the same course. i pray everything goes well tomorrow too like how it had those past 2 days i had my orientation.

please keep me in your prayers, anywhere you are in the world. i will pray for you too, and i always do. i miss you all terribly. i am indeed homesick. but i hope things get better as time goes by. remember i've had to basically start life anew. plus, there's no one to visit or see nearby i can walk to or something. EVERYTHING'S a drive away. there's nothing supremely accessible by walking distance. but maybe the supermarket is about a 15 min walk if i'm up to it. or by bike. other than that, it's drive all the way!

today was a good day though. went for a long drive and stopped in between to visit my friend melissa here, then for lunch, tea, and just before heading back home again. saw most part of the beach and the external part of UWA which, by the way, looks really magnificent. i can understand why David Wenham went there. haha. for those who don't know. David Wenham is from LOTR (if you didn't already figure that one out) he was Faramir. if you've no idea who Faramir is. i'll give you one good kick when i see you next!

i told myself, it doesn't matter which uni i go to. what matters is that i make connections and and do whatever i can to live my dream!

oh and today, something quite freaky happened. i don't know whether i'd say it was God or mere coincidence. but then i feel whatever happens or doesn't happen, happens for a reason. so it probably was God. i won't go into details, but it involved a song and a licence plate. sounds stupid? trust me if you were in my shoes you would've been stunned too.

well, gotta go and sleep now. i tell you perth goes to sleep pretty early man. compared to us in singapore who sleep at God-knows-what-time sometimes. oh wait, that might've been just me. and a few others.
